Breast Lift

A breast lift, also known as a mastopexy, is a surgical procedure to uplift and improve the shape and enhance the female breast giving women a more youthful profile.

Over time and with pregnancy and breast-feeding a woman's breasts lose elasticity causing the breasts to sag, lose firmness, and possibly their shape.  A breast lift raises and firms the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour.  The nipple and areola are then repositioned to a natural position.  A breast lift combined with an implant will increase fullness  and enlarge the breasts along with firming the sagging breast skin. The procedure does leave scars although your bra or bathing suite will cover them.  A breast lift is best performed on healthy individuals and non-smokers.

If pregnancy is in your future it may be a good idea to postpone your breast lift procedure.
